There are many custom settings for Substitutes. This guide explains each of them. To access these settings go to: Menu > Admin > Settings

Half day / Full day hours
Substitute Half day and Substitute Full day hours allow users to define what constitutes a half day and full day for subs picking up assignments.

Sub Management Start / End Call Time
Sub Management Start Call Time: This is the default time that substitutes will get notified of assignments for that same day.
Sub Management End Call Time: This is the default time that notifications will end for a day-of assignment.
Sub Management Disable Partial Sub Assignment
This toggle will enable or disable the ability for subs to be assigned to (or pick up) partial assignments. Ex. a teacher takes a week off. Two subs are assigned to the absence, one will do M-W the other will do TH-FR.
Sub Management Absence Cutoff Time
This is the cutoff time for when subs can make edits to absences they've already picked up. After this time, changes can only be made by Admin users.
Sub Management Call for Next Day After Time
Any absences entered after this time each day will go for the next day. It's like a cutoff time. This is used because teachers often need to enter absences the day of due to sickness or emergency but any absence after 12 (in this case) will not be counted for the current day for sub locating purposes.
Sub Management Hours to Wait for Preferred Subs
Teachers can set Preferred Subs that they like to work with, these Preferred Subs get first dibs on assignments whenever that specific teacher enters an absence. This setting allows you to set the amount of hours the system waits, after notifying the initial Preferred Subs, before notifying the entire Sub Pool.
Sub Max Hours Per Day
This setting dictates how many hours, maximum, a sub can pick up in a day.
