Reset a User's Password

3. Select the user whose password needs to be reset.
4. Now that you have selected a user, let's click the button to open the reset password popup.
5. Password should be at least 8 characters long. For Helios HR Portal Users, it is required to include:
one alphabetic character
one numeric digit
one special character
NOTE: Do not click the NEXT button until you verify that your password meets the requirements. If it does not meet the requirements, then you will be notified with a red message under the field.
6. The password must be re-entered for confirmation. The two must match exactly. If they do not match, the system will not let you save the user profile.
7. By toggling this field to "Yes", it will force the user to change their password upon login. It is required to set a password for a new user in Helios so, for security purposes, it is highly recommended to set this to "Yes".
*However, if you are using SSO, it is not necessary to force the user to change the password.
8. Now that you are finished, you can save your changes.
