Updating Approvers in a Workflow Criteria

We are going to cover how to search for approvers in Workflow approval criteria and replace them with another user. This is helpful when someone who was previously in a role is no longer available, but they were involved in multiple workflow approval criteria that now need to be reassigned to a different user.



1. Click here to open the Menu

2. Click here to navigate to the Workflow Designer.

3. Click here to open the Workflow Approval Criteria.

4. Click here

5. In this section, you will find a field where you can enter the names of approving users to search for within the Workflow approval criteria.

Click here to expand this drop-down menu. Then, select the name of the user you would like to have replaced.

6. Once you select a name from the drop-down menu, a list of all Workflow Approval Criteria that include the selected employee as one of the approvers will appear on the left-hand side of the screen.

7. Here, you can find the employee whose role needs to be changed, and you can proceed to replace them with the employee who will take over their role in the Workflow approval criteria.

After making this change, be sure to SAVE the modifications before moving on to the next item on the list.

8. Keep scrolling through the filtered list and replace the approver in each Workflow approval criteria as required. Remember to save your changes after modifying each Workflow approval criteria. This allows you to update multiple criteria with new approvers efficiently.
